What started off as a three day program progressed into a fifteen day release of grace. The good fight with our highly esteemed group Pastor has been a glorious program as our man of God taught us that as christians we are called too “fight the good fight of faith”. The program was birthed by the Spirit of God through our esteemed group Pastor as a divine strategy to help us cross the finish line as we conclude our Partnership pledges for the present year.
Pastor went on to explain that christians today have the expectations that God should intervene, but God has made us the helpers and we have been sent here to dominate and subdue. Until the second coming of Christ we are in war, but we shouldn’t be concerned for God teaches us how to fight (psalm 18:34) and he has sent us a helper, the Holy Ghost.
Our esteemed Pastor also emphasized on the importance of knowing God’s love “knowing that God loves you, will give you your foundation of faith” this is best explained through Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love”. Being conscious of his love gives us confidence and through the knowledge of his love allows grace to operate. Not knowing God or His love leads to death.
Pastor revealed to us three ways to fight the good fight
1-Prophecy- 1 Corinthians 14:3 – “But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.”
Prophecy builds you up, and constructs spiritual progress.
2-Prayer- 1 Thessalonians 5:17 – ” Pray without ceasing.”
Praying for long hours is an exercise for your spirit; it empowers you and gives no space for unbelief.
3-Giving- 2 Kings 3:27 – “Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.”
It is the sacrifice that moves the hand of God, Your giving will always find a way and it will solve anything.
As The Good Fight continues we are being equipped for war and we are receiving the grace to accomplish supernatural results.
